Pat Dane

I was literally one of the early pioneers of the Internet. My first startup was in 1995, just after the introduction of the first internet-based browser from Netscape. Some notable creations of mine include using a personal website with my own name as the email address, Pat@PatDane.com—a concept that is now quite pervasive. I also created the titles of Chief Marketing Officer while starting Tuneup.com and later introduced the Chief Revenue Officer role. During this time, I traveled extensively and became a fixture at Marriott hotels. Since 1983, I have spent 2,700 nights in Marriott properties worldwide, accumulating over 30 million reward points and achieving Lifetime Titanium Member status, placing me in the top 0.5% of Marriott’s 100 million members. Marriott frequently seeks my opinion and feedback on new programs, and I have served as an advisor to them for over twenty years. In my travels, I exclusively used Hertz as my rental car company and am a Lifetime President’s Circle Member. Over the years, I have flown over thirty million miles, becoming a top-tier member of American Airlines, Delta, and US Airways Premier Clubs.
